First little moving things

Mood: Pleased

Today I made some slight progress and realised something that had been annoying me. I couldn’t figure out why two identical pieces code had different effects (one worked, the other didn’t) which was more than a little disconcerting. If all I can get to run are pre-written tutorial codes, this really isn’t going to go very far. I then noticed that for the indent (which Python uses instead of braces) I had used a combination of tabs and spaces, and it seems Python really wants you to stick to one. So there we go.

Ultimately managed to get something to move around the screen when I pressed the cursor keys. Next I’ll try and link this to a character class which contains the corresponding location.

I’ve had some thought on the overall architecture of the main loop and called classes, but want to hash it out a little more on paper before I post them.
